I took this vide on the southern end, the main resort on the southern end is the Kata Beach Resort. I love everything about this beach and spend quite a bit of time at it, I live up on the northern end of the beach, if you love to walk, run and swim Kata beach is the place to go, and even during the high season you wont feel crowded, the beach is much more laid back than Patong and the scenery is very gorgeous. I have two of my distance swim routes on this beach; the PU island swim and I also like to swim from the south and make my way to the north end, both swim routes really give you a good swim workout, just be careful on some of the rip currents you will see the flags on the beach, they are located near Club med Resort beach area, so just be cautious when swimming in that area. Ban Chiang denotes an archeological site located in Nong Han district, Udon Thani Province, Thailand. Discovered in 1957, the Ban Chiang Archaeological site attracted enormous publicity due to its distinctive red painted pottery. During the first formal scientific excavation in 1967, archaeologists unearthed several skeletons, together with bronze grave gifts. Rice fragments have also been found, leading to the belief that the Bronze Age settlers probably had been farmers. The site's oldest graves absence of bronze artifacts led archaeologists to conclude that the site dates to the Neolithic period; the most recent graves date to the Iron Age. The dating of the artifacts using the thermo luminescence technique resulted in 4420 BCE - 3400 BCE dates. That positioned Ban Chiang as the earliest Bronze Culture site in the world.

Just 60 miles northwest of Phuket, lie the Similan Islands. The word 'Similan' comes from the Malaysian word 'sembilan' (which means the number 'nine'). My Koh Tao Life

Every so often, when I get fucked off with the backpack and the bedbugs, I head for Koh Tao, Thailand's awesome diving centre and incidentally one of the most social places in the universe. This photo/video adventure is a collage of random images captured by my own as well as friends' cameras (some of them recklessly left their cams in my care). Given its size, Koh Tao is a busy little hive, and you can fill your time with plenty of things. If not diving, you can rest up on the beautiful beaches OR make a complete ass of yourself , be it dressed in drag, painted, or not dressed at all... This collection here is from the summer months of 2009 which I spent working at Davy Jones' Locker (DJL) as a scuba destructor and a monkey.
