I spent a day in Bangkok on my way to Northern Thailand. I flew from Hawaii to Thailand on JAL, which is a lovely airline. Bangkok is an interesting city, with new buildings right next to 500 year old temples. It is a very huge city with a million places to shop, and is the jumping point for other travels throughout SE Asia.
